This polygon shapefile represents Westover Field Airport height restriction data in Amador County for 2012 This file was obtained 3/2/2016 by UCSB Library staff. It was originally available via http://www.co.amador.ca.us/departments/information-technology/gis/gis-data.
The following metadata was provided by the data creators: "HeightRestriction" represents an imaginary surface over Westover Field Airport, Amador County, used as a basis for restricting the heights of proposed structures near the airport. The imaginary surface has two components: a somewhat oval-shaped horizontal surface suspended over the airport and a conical suface which extends upward and outward from the edge of the horizontal surface. The surfaces were digitized based on location and dimension information described in the "Airport Land Use Plan for Westover Field, Amador County" obtained from the Amador County Planning Department (see the Source Information > Source Citation secion under the "Data Quality" tab of this metadata).
